The Picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp,
located a kilometer away.

Description: "The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken.

Three months later he (Kevin Carter) committed suicide due to depression.

My first teaching experience

I was trying to remember my days in secondary school when I found out that I had an incident that took my parents to the principal's desk.

I had this past Monday my first teaching experience in front of third grade secondary students, and It was not as I imagine it could be.

First my presentation to them was so normal, no school's representative came to introduce me to students. So, I did it myself in a natural way but little bit serious. I got their eyes for seconds and I just said my name and my occupation, my subject and my objective. Being a Chemistry teacher was not in my plans, but it is a challenge for me.

Monday tow hours class... half of it trying to convince students to be in silence and attending class. I did my best to teach, maybe not efficiently but I tried it hard.

At the end I can say, it was a very unusual time, but I will do my best to make it much better tomorrow! Thank you for your attention.

Friendship

Once in a while we can find a special person, the one we could say is our friend. Sometimes is just a person we supposed to feel a friend.

Friendship is the best feeling ever. The best situation for a person where nobody can be wicked by life aggressions. Keep your circle of close friends is a real difficulty. Everybody has things to do, other friends, other type of relationships or just no more interest continuing the comradeship.

If I could ask something to a close friend... I would ask... What is the meaning of your friendship to me?

In the way I am, I am not an easy guy to establish relation of friendship. Some people just play with guys that want to give a lot in social relations. The feeling to see a friend coming down in interest is really frustrating, because there is an idea of mistakes in the middle, involving the peace of mind.

I would ask all my friends... please speak out all your ideas, all what you see is not correct or something that is not going in a good way... I am speaking about your and our friendships.

Examen para residencias médicas en México

El día de hoy, recibí un email de una amiga que presentaría este 8 y 9 de Septiembre del 2007, ella al igual que yo y que poco mas de 25,000 médicos pasantes y titulados estabamos por presentar el dichoso examen nacional para las residencias médicas en México.

Dicho sea de paso, la cosa terminó por no ser este fin de semana estipulado desde que se abrió la convocatoria por ahí de diciembre del 2006; esto ha sido hasta el momento un suceso en el haber de este tan "famoso" proceso de selección, pues ha abierto o cerrado puertas para médicos a lo largo de sus ya 31 años de realizarse año tras año.

Esta edición XXXI del examen ha sido "postergada" "aplazada" "movida" "cambiada" o como guste llamarle, por motivos que muchos médicos sabemos. ¿ Cuales son estos motivos ? Si, esa es la respuesta. La famosa y muy requerida compra del examen a manos de gente que tiene acceso al mismo, a su impresión, a su distribución, a su resguardo o quien sabe a que... pero tienen el acceso.

Yo no sabia que podía el examen ser cambiado en su fecha de aplicación, pero se ha dado y es un hecho... cualquiera puede entrar al sitio web de la secretaria de la función publica, a la página web del tan famoso y citado ENARM. Bueno pues estas páginas tienen la información detallada de dichos acontecimientos que hasta la PGR anda ahí dentro en las "investigaciones" y vaya! no vamos a irnos lejos, que hasta aspirantes al examen hay ya en proceso de investigación.

Ahora a todos los que nos dieron en la "torre" con este suceso que ha marcado pauta... pues no pasaba nunca de suspenderlo, aun con denuncias y demás de que el examen era vendido de forma ilegal y clandestina, hecho que medio mundo sabe, solo las autoridades se declaraban que no era así y demás... bueno en nuestro bonito país puede pasar de todo y nadie sabe... nadie supo. Pues a nosotros nos dejan en "veremos" y esperense pues se dará la nueva fecha... ¿ Cuando ? pues sabrá el sereno... mientras sigan estudiando, leyendo o solo esperando cumplir con otro examen mas...

Realmente creo que no se vale que situaciones así perjudiquen la esencia médica, pues para muchas personas el médico ya hace trampa también. No es compatible la mentira con la práctica médica por muchas situaciones. La ética que muchos pregonan realmente no existe.
